Nothings screams, “Fall,” more than this Spiked Caramel Pumpkin Cold Brew! It’s the perfect blend of pumpkin spice and everything, nice!
Alright y’all, I have a confession to make…I have never been a fan of cold coffee!! *Gasps!* I know, crazy right?! I love, love, love coffee but I never understood the concept of cold coffee! I mean, I hated for my coffee to reach room temp so to drink a cold cup of coffee on purpose was seriously out of the question! Ain’t happenin! Lol!
Weeellll….I changed my tune after trying this life changing cold brew at our favorite breakfast nook! The hubs and I were on a day date (we still date J) and he ordered their caramel spiked cold brew. In my typical fashion, I asked for a sip and guess what, y’all?? I loved it!
It was really good! I couldn’t believe it! I knew that I had to recreate this recipe and try to transform the rest of the world in cold brew coffee drinks! I wanted to add a Fall spin on this recipe, so I added pumpkin and came up with this Spiked Caramel Pumpkin Cold Brew!
This recipe was a cinch to make! I got a few tips from my girl, Ree Drummond from Pioneer Woman and made my own cold brew concentrate! Using regular brewed coffee and then storing it in the fridge, is okay but it won’t give you that smooth, rich coffee taste!  To make this pumpkin cold brew concentrate, I added 1 cup of pumpkin flavored coffee to a large mason jar and covered it with 3 cups of cold water. I let it steep for about 8-10 hours. When it was done, I strained the coffee with a fine, mesh strainer to get rid of the coffee grinds. You can keep this cold brew in the fridge to use as needed!
Once you’ve made your pumpkin cold brew concentrate, it’s time to make this Spiked Caramel Pumpkin Cold Brew! You can mix this drink right in your mason jar or any other drinking glass. I prefer using mason jar mugs, such as these, because they’re so fun and cute!
Once you mixed all of the ingredients, add ice and a few fancy toppings such as caramel and whipped cream! This Spiked Caramel Pumpkin Cold Brew was the best thing ever and paired perfectly with my Chocolate Pumpkin Streusel Muffins!
