3 Quick & Nutritious 5-Minute Breakfast Ideas

Let’s face it…we could use a few more hours in the day! I can’t tell you how many times my 2 item ‘to-do’ list has become a 20-item list by noon! And because I think that I’m super mom, I try to get every item on that list done before the kids get out of school! Insane, right? Lol!

Since there’s no way to magically add more hours to my days, I’ve figured out a way to be smarter with my time, starting with my morning routine! Determining what to prepare for breakfast usually takes about 20 minutes and making sure that the kids will like it takes another 10 minutes! To make things easier, I’ve come up with 3 Quick & Nutritious 5-Minute Breakfast Ideas, thanks to the Publix Cool Foods event!

Publix is my one-stop shop! My entire family enjoys going to Publix because it’s always an adventure! From the free cookies in the bakery, to the amazing BOGO deals, we are on cloud 9 once we hit the door! Right now, Publix has some great deals on several frozen and refrigerated items! During the Cool Foods event at my local Publix, I stocked up on Bays Multi-Grain English Muffins, which were 2 for $5, and Fage Greek Yogurt, which was 10 for $10! These items are a staple in my home because you can always put them together to create a quick and easy breakfast! As promised, here are 3 Quick & Nutritious 5-Minute Breakfast Ideas, using Bays Multi-Grain English Muffins and Fage Greek Yogurt!

  1. Multi-Grain English Muffin topped with Yogurt & Fruit

You can never go wrong with an English muffin, yogurt, and fruit! Simply toast a Bays Multi-Grain English muffin, and top it with Fage Greek Yogurt and fresh fruit! To make it extra tasty, add a little dash of cinnamon on top! Yum!

  • Fresh Fruit Yogurt Bowl & English Muffin

I absolutely love yogurt bowls because they’re delicious and super easy to make! Just spoon your yogurt into a bowl and add your favorite combo of fresh fruit on top! You can also add a few nuts for a little extra crunch and protein! To make this breakfast complete, pair the yogurt bowl with one Bays English Muffin!

  • Multi-Grain English Muffin Parfait

Parfaits are so much fun to make and eat! The flavor possibilities are endless! For this parfait, I broke one of Bays Multi-Grain English Muffins into pieces and placed it at the bottom of a small jar/cup. Next, I added a serving of my Fage Greek yogurt, and then topped it with fresh fruit! If you’re feeling a little fancy, add a little granola on top!

These quick and easy recipes are kid-approved and husband-approved! By having a list of these quick ideas on hand, I’ve been able to reduce the amount of chaos at breakfast time and add a little bit more time to my days!
