Easy Balanced Mornings with belVita

Thank you, belVita, for sponsoring this post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day! As a registered dietitian nutritionist, I consider it the most important meal because it helps fuel my morning!

Even though I love breakfast, I don’t always have the time to make it. Between getting 2 rambunctious toddlers ready for school and finding my husband’s keys for the 8th time ?, I am left with very little time to put together a balanced breakfast. That’s why I keep a stash of belVita Breakfast Biscuits on hand!

belVita Breakfast Biscuits are a convenient breakfast option that provides 14-22g of whole grains per 50g serving, 2-4g of fiber (contains 7-9g total fat) and a good source of B vitamins & iron. belVita Breakfast Biscuits also provide 4 hours of nutritious steady morning energy to keep me on my toes!

Wanna know how that’s possible???

belVita Breakfast Biscuits contain slow-release carbs. Slow-release carbs take longer for the body to break down during digestion. As a result, slow-release carbs provide a steady release of glucose fueling the body with 4 hours of nutritious steady energy. In addition to providing nutritious steady morning energy, belVita Breakfast Biscuits can be a part of a balanced breakfast when paired with a serving of low-fat dairy and fruit!  My favorite breakfast combination is the belVita Crunchy Golden Oat Breakfast Biscuits topped with low-fat yogurt and fresh slices of apples and pears.

This recipe is super easy to make and complements the crunchy biscuits perfectly. Check out the recipe below.
