A couple of years ago, my husband started a little Mother’s Day tradition. He invited both of our moms over and prepared us a beautiful Mother’s Day brunch! He cooked French Toast, bacon, and the best shrimp & grits that I’ve ever tasted!
This year, I decided to invite my mom and sisters over for a fun Mother’s Day brunch! Since we are always so busy, I thought that this would be a great way to catch up and spend some quality time with each other!

When planning any event, I always start with the menu. I wanted to keep the menu simple but delicious, so I thought that a charcuterie board would be perfect!
For any Mother’s Day event, fresh flowers are a MUST! I always buy a few bouquets of fresh flowers from my local grocery store. This helps to save money instead of buying them from a fancy flower shop!

Even though I wanted to put together a beautiful charcuterie brunch board, I didn’t want to spend hours in the kitchen cooking and prepping food, so I headed to the bakery section of the grocery store and stocked up on a few baked goods!
I got some mini blueberry muffins, waffles, and multi grain bread for toast. I also stopped by the produce section and grabbed a few essentials!
When putting together a charcuterie board, you don’t need a fancy board. You can do like I did, and use your cutting board! As you can see, I’m all about saving time and money! ?

I trimmed and prepped my flowers, and arranged them on the board. Next, I placed my baked goods and fruit on the board in a cute and organized fashion! I wanted to make sure that my board was visually appealing, so I placed a few flowers in between some of the food to make it POP!
My produce included strawberries, blackberries, and avocados. You can choose to use any combination that you want, but I knew that my guests would love these options! I also included a little bowl of cinnamon cream cheese for dipping!
My Charcuterie Brunch Board turned out fantastic! It was bright, colorful, and literally took just a few minutes to put together! Now I all need is the perfect cocktail…and I think exactly which one to serve! Click HERE to check it out!
