The minute I started putting this recipe together, my family was intrigued and couldn’t wait to taste them! The key to these Bourbon BBQ Grilled Wings with Peppers is the marinade, of course! I used one of my favorite barbecue sauces, which happens to be Sprouts Organic Bourbon BBQ Sauce!

Sprouts Farmers Market has a huge selection of high-quality products to choose from, so I often end up filling my shopping cart with lots of goodies! In addition to this fantastic Bourbon BBQ Sauce, the quality of chicken wings is also an important factor!

I like to make sure that my wings are fresh, which is why I purchased a couple of packs of Farm Fresh Party Wings from The Butcher Shop at Sprouts! Their meat is always fresh, never frozen. And it’s always obtained from a sustainable source!

Before adding the wings to the grill, let the wings and the peppers sit in the marinade for at least 30 minutes. This allows for the flavor to really seep in! Then you are going to transfer the wings and the peppers to a heavy-duty sheet of aluminum foil.

The foil helps the flavors stay together and it makes clean up a breeze! These Bourbon BBQ Grilled Wings with Peppers were a huge hit! Try this recipe at your next cookout and let me know how they turn out!

Bourbon BBQ Grilled Wings with Peppers

  • 2 ½ lbs Sprouts Butcher Shop Farm Fresh Party Wings
  • 1 cup Sprouts Organic Bourbon BBQ Sauce
  • 10-12 mini bell peppers
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Sprouts Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Sprouts Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt/pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a large bowl, whisk Sprouts Organic Bourbon BBQ Sauce, garlic powder, Sprouts Paprika, Sprouts Cayenne Pepper, and salt/pepper to taste. Add wings and mini bell peppers; toss to coat. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes.
  • Spray a 24-inch-long piece of heavy-duty foil with cooking spray, and place wings and peppers in the center. Bring edges of foil inward, but do not seal. Place on grill and close lid. Cook for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked, and no longer pink inside.
  • When done, carefully toss wings and peppers, and serve!
