Top Favorite Frozen Meals for Healthy Eating

I can’t be the only one that could use a few extra hours in the day! There are times that my days are so busy that I have to rely on frozen convenience meals for myself and my family. Frozen meals tend to get a bad rap, but there are several nutritious options located right in the freezer sections of your favorite grocery stores!

I was super excited to receive The Good Eats Box that contained a variety of tasty meals from some well-known brands such as, Evol, Healthy Choice, and Udi’s! Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on some of my favorites!

Evol Portabella & Goat Cheese Ravioli

I’m a huge fan of ravioli, but most of my ravioli dishes consist of the traditional, tomato meat sauce & cheese recipe. I was super excited to try Evol Portabella & Goat Cheese Ravioli because it contained bold flavors and it was vegetarian!

The ravioli was stuffed with portabella mushrooms, goat cheese and romano & ricotta cheeses combined with crimini mushrooms, red bell peppers, and spinach! The best part was the tasty creamy basil sauce! Yum!

Healthy Choice Grain Free Power Bowls Spicy Black Bean & Chicken

Healthy Choice has always been one of my favorite brands! I love how they have so many delicious, wholesome options to choose from! The Spicy Black Bean & Chicken Grain Free Power Bowl was unbelievably good! It was made with pulled all-natural chicken breast, black beans and vegetables, served on top of riced cauliflower with a spicy chili sauce topped with cotija cheese.

Like all of the Healthy Choice Grain Free Power Bowls, this meal contained a nutrient-dense combination of leafy greens, and great source of fiber and protein! Each bowl provides 18 – 20 grams of protein and 5 -7 grams of fiber! This is the perfect meal to get you through the day!

Healthy Choice Simply Steamers Chicken Tikka Masala

Another great Healthy Choice meal is the Chicken Tikka Masala Simply Steamers. This Indian-inspired dish was so flavorful and made with real ingredients such as, chicken breast, chickpeas, carrots, peas and tomatoes, smothered in a tikka masala sauce over a bed of riced cauliflower. I love that the ingredients are minimally processed which makes this meal truly appetizing!

Udi’s Sweet Potato Crust Chicken BBQ Pizza

Who doesn’t love pizza?!! Pizza is one of my FAVORITE foods!! I could seriously eat it every day, which is why I was super excited to try Udi’s BBQ Flavored Chicken Pizza! The crust is made from sweet potatoes and topped with delicious mozzarella, smoked gouda cheese, sweet BBQ sauce, and white meat chicken. 

It’s hard to believe that it’s gluten free and grain free! This is a great meal to serve to the whole family!  My kids didn’t waste anytime cleaning their plates and asking for seconds!
