I’m all about a good charcuterie board! It’s the perfect addition to any party menu, especially if you’re entertaining a group of family or friends. The great thing about charcuterie boards is that you can set up everything on a large board or platter and allow your guests to serve themselves.

My charcuterie boards usually consist of a few cheeses, a variety of meats, and a few crackers, but since we’re expecting a couple of friends over, I wanted to do something a little different and decided to make a Chicken Wing Charcuterie Board!

I mean, what’s not to love about chicken wings?? It’s a genius idea, and it’s extremely easy to put together, especially since I used Foster Farms® Take Out Chicken Wings. These restaurant-worthy crispy, juicy chicken wings are absolutely delicious! They are available in the freezer aisle and come in a variety of flavors: Classic Buffalo, Sweet Chipotle BBQ and Sweet Thai Chili. They even come with their own savory sauces!

Now here comes the fun part! This is chicken wing charcuterie board is pretty customizable and can be as traditional or unique as you want it to be! We know that chicken wings are the star of this board, but you also what to add a few additional items to help fill your board. I chose to add a few veggies, but you can totally choose whatever you would like! Here’s what I used:

  1. Wings

Of course, you are going to need wings on your board! I recommend having more than one kind of wings which is why I went with Foster Farms Take Out Chicken Wings, Crispy, Classic Buffalo Style and Foster Farms Take Out Chicken Wings, Crispy, Sweet Chipotle BBQ. They both have so much flavor and is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy.

When preparing these wings, I brushed a small amount of the sauce on the wings once they were done, and then I put the remaining sauce in smalls bowls for dipping.

  • Sauces

Sauces are a MUST for any chicken wing charcuterie board and they serve a dual purpose. They are perfect for dipping both the wings and the veggies! Luckily, Foster Farms Take Out Wings come with their very own sauce, so all you have to do is heat the packet in warm water and it’s ready to use!

  • Veggies & Extras

Have you ever wondered why cut-up veggies are served with wings, especially spicy wings?? Cut-up veggies, such as celery and radishes, are great to serve with wings because they help to neutralize the heat in between bites—allowing you to enjoy your next bite even more!

Plus, that crunch it adds a lot more fun to the board. You can get really creative here, but here are a few of my favorite choices:

  • Celery
  • Radishes
  • Gherkin Pickles
  • Olives

Now that you have all of your favorite items ready, it’s time to place them onto your board or platter. There are really no set rules when it comes to putting together a charcuterie board, just let your creativity guide you! And if you have any open nooks and crannies, just fill those areas with fresh herbs. It adds a little bit of freshness while adding to the visual appeal of the charcuterie board!
