There are so many yummy salad combinations, but my favorite has to be this Blackberry Balsamic Avocado Chicken Salad! This recipe contains both sweet and savory flavors that compliment each other perfectly. There are so many tasty ingredients in this salad, but the true star of the show is definitely the Oregon Blackberries!

Yep, that’s right—this Blackberry Balsamic Avocado Chicken Salad recipe gives you a double dose of blackberries by incorporating them into the salad AND the vinaigrette!
How to Make Blackberry Vinaigrette
The Blackberry Vinaigrette was super easy to make. Simply add a serving of frozen Oregon blackberries that have been thawed & pureed to a mason jar along with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, salt/pepper, and garlic. Shake until combined, and that’s it! It’s sooo good and adds the perfect finishing touch to any salad!

Blackberry Balsamic Avocado Chicken Salad
- 5 cups spring salad greens
- 1 cup radishes thinly sliced
- 2 avocados sliced
- 1 & ½ cups grape tomatoes sliced in half
- ⅓ cup sliced almonds
- 2 cups pre-cooked grilled chicken strips
- 1 cup frozen Oregon blackberries thawed
- ¼ cup crumbled feta
For the Blackberry Vinaigrette:
- 1 cup frozen Oregon blackberries thawed & pureed
- 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- Start by making the Blackberry Vinaigrette. Add all of the vinaigrette ingredients to a mason jar, and seal tightly with a lid. Shake until all ingredients are combined and set aside.
- Next, arrange the spring salad greens, radishes, grape tomatoes, avocados, almonds, chicken, blackberries, and feta in a large bowl or platter.
- Sprinkle with feta, and top with the Blackberry Vinaigrette. Enjoy!
