The leaves have turned into beautiful shades of orange and red, the air is crisp and cool, and there are turkeys on sale at every grocery store, which can only mean one thing….it’s time for Thanksgiving, y’all!! Excuse me while I do my happy dance! Thanksgiving is one of my absolute favorite holidays because I get to fill my belly with tons of delicious family recipes and enjoy spending time with my friends and family! Thanks to Chinet® Classic White™ products I am able to do that with ease! Don’t worry, I will show you how! 🙂
Earlier this year, I made a promise to myself. I promised that I would host more gatherings and dinner parties with my friends. We are always so busy and talk about getting together, but that usually just turns into a group text rescheduling for the “next” gathering. Well I kept my promise and decided to host the ultimate friendsgiving party!
When planning any party, I like to make a list of everything I need which includes, food, décor, and my table setting essentials. I wanted to keep the atmosphere casual but still elegant, so I decided to set my table with Chinet Classic White products! For all of my holiday parties, I like to use the Chinet Classic White product line because of its thick and sturdy design. Chinet Classic White products offer premium strength so you don’t have to worry about spills and leaks, making serving and cleanup easy so you can spend more time with friends, family, and guests —just toss when done! How convenient is that?!
I chose to go with a fall-inspired theme! I wanted rich fall colors and lots of pumpkins! When decorating my table, I kept my decorative elements small because I wanted to save some room for the food platters. For example, I used some of my small, stemless wine glasses to make mini flower vases and I used mini pumpkins to accompany my table runner. This left plenty of room for my platters of green beans and cornbread, which were served on the Chinet Classic White platters!
Let me just say that I had no idea that the Chinet Classic White product line carried serving platters! I would always just use a standard sized plate as a serving platter. This seriously changed my life forever! Lol! I love to keep the food on the table because it prevents me and my guests from having to get up if they want seconds! That way, we can just drink and eat until our hearts’ content. Speaking of eating and drinking, let’s talk about this menu!
MENU:
- Sausage & Rice Stuffed Pumpkins
- Fresh Green Bean & Onion Almondine
- Buttermilk Cornbread Muffins
- Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes w/Cream Cheese Frosting
- Pomegranate and Apple Punch
I made these super cute menu cards out of sparkly cardstock paper and burlap rosettes! I always like to create unique menu cards! I think it adds a little fanciness to the table! AND I can’t ever pass up sparkly cardstock paper! Lol!
Since I wanted tons of pumpkins in my décor, I had to serve my famous Sausage & Rice Stuffed Pumpkins! These little pumpkins were so easy to make! I just carved out the insides and stuffed it with the most flavorful sausage and rice filling! It paired perfectly with the Fresh Green Bean & Onion Almondine and Buttermilk Cornbread Muffins! I promise to post the full recipes soon!
With such a hearty menu, it was important my perfectly crafted stuffed pumpkins would not hit the floor due to a flimsy plate. My Chinet Classic White plates with their thick and sturdy design held up! They are designed to not bend, fold or leak so thankfully my nightmare didn’t come true!
For the finishing touch, I always like to give my guests some sort of party favor, thanking them for taking the time to come to my party. This time, I wanted to do something special. I wanted each one of my girls to know just how much they mean to me and how extremely grateful I am to have them in my life! I purchased these mini bottles a while back and decided to put an individualized, personal note in each one.
I tied each bottle with an orange ribbon to make my color scheme and added it to my table décor. Even though this gift was a very small token, my guests truly appreciated it because it was from my heart! True friends are hard to come by and I’m fortunate to have a group of some of the most amazing women in my life! Cheers to friendship! ?
