My Top 6 Morning Routine Hacks, Black African American Registered Dietitian posing with Bolthouse Farms Green Goddess

My mornings are always extremely busy! From the time I get up to the time I’m dropping the kids off at school, I’m literally doing 10 things at once! Fixing breakfast, walking the dog, cleaning up spills, cutting sandwiches into the shape of superheroes…you know, the usual stuff! My mornings got so hectic, that I desperately needed to make a change!

As I was stocking up on my stash of Bolthouse FarmsÒ Smoothies at Publix, I got the idea to put together a daily morning routine! You see, I love Bolthouse Farms Smoothies, and I always drink the Green GoodnessÒ flavor during my mid-morning snack to help get me through the day. Those quality ingredients are so flavorful and taste absolutely amazing! It’s become a part of my daily routine which inspired me to create a complete morning routine to make the most out of my mornings, and I’m going to share those Top 6 Morning Routine Hacks with you today!!

  1. Prioritizing your day, the night before.

Every night, I open my planner and list my tasks for the next day! It helps to keep me on track without feeling so overwhelmed! Prioritizing my daily tasks allows me to focus on the most important things first and helps me to meet those very important deadlines.

2. Meditate.

Mediation is something that I’ve recently gotten into. I like to read a few pages from my women’s motivational book, and reflect on those positive thoughts. It really helps to put me in a great space to tackle the day!

3. Get a good night’s sleep.

Getting a good night’s sleep is very important! It helps to relax and restore our bodies for the next day. I have made it my goal to be in the bed no later than 10pm. If I am working on a project, I make myself come to a stopping point so that I can get some rest.

4. Wake up one hour earlier.

I know, I know…waking up one hour earlier can be VERY difficult for some people, including me, but it’s totally worth it! Waking up an hour earlier has allowed me to have a little time for myself and get my day started on a positive note!

5. Eat a nutritious breakfast.

I’m sure that you’ve heard it a million times…breakfast is the most important meal of the day! As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I’m constantly reminding my clients of this. Consuming a nutritious breakfast helps to fuel your body for an eventful day! One of my favorite ways to add a nutritious boost to my meals is incorporating Bolthouse Farms Smoothies, I love it because every sip of Bolthouse Farms brings the magic of the farm to wherever you are!

6. Complete a quick morning workout, and have a mid-morning snack!

Since I’m waking up an hour earlier, I’ve been able to complete a quick morning workout before the kids get up! My workouts are very simple. Sometimes, I will go for a brisk walk around my neighborhood or do about 45 minutes of yoga. After my workouts, I like to have wholesome mid-morning snack that includes Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness Smoothie! It’s the perfect refreshing treat!
