Thank you so much, Sprouts Farmers Market, for sponsoring this trip! As always, all thoughts and opinions are truly my own!
Oh, how I wish that I was back in Arizona!!! If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ve probably seen all of my posts and stories about the fabulous time that I had in Arizona during the Sprouts Retreat 2019. I decided to give you a full recap of some of the highlights from my trip!
When I arrived in Arizona, I was completely blown away! This was my first time visiting this awesome state, and the scenery was so beautiful! I immediately felt at home! I was welcomed with this super cute Sprouts gift bag filled with Sprouts Brand goodies! There were lots of wellness products and a few snacks that got eaten within the first day! Lol!
We had a very busy agenda! The first day included a complete tour of the Sprouts Farmers Market Headquarters! The entire facility was beautiful and the crew was super friendly!
We were able to try lots of items including a few new items that will be debuting this Fall!! We learned a lot about the history of Sprouts and their 6 private label brands! I especially enjoyed learning more about the Sprouts Essentials Brand! I’m all about wellness and beauty, so this was right up my alley!
Our night ended with a memorable dinner with The Butcher Shop at Sprouts, at Sur la Table! We had the most amazing meal, Fideo Noodle Soup featuring Sprouts Organic Air Chilled Chicken! I am going to try to recreate this dish very soon! ?
The next day was all about sustainability! We visited the Sprouts Farmers Market in North Scottsdale to hear about the many ways that Sprouts contributes to saving the environment. One of the most common solutions is the use of reusable bags. Sprouts offers reusable shopping bags, produce bags, and treat bags for a very low price and encourages their customers to bring them in the store during each visit!
Another way that Sprouts helps to reduce waste is by repurposing food waste, in which they call “cow chow!” They give the food remains to farm animals instead of tossing it out!
My last day in Arizona was bittersweet. Before we headed to the airport, we stopped by the Desert Botanical Gardens to learn more about the Healthy Communities Foundation.
This was definitely the highlight of the retreat for me! Sprouts gives back to local schools in the community by supplying food to students during the summer break. Most people are unaware of this, but there are several kids that only eat at school because funds are scarce at home.
During the summer break, these kids go several days without food. Luckily, Sprouts has partnered with some amazing people to help those in need, and we were able to help pack up some of those bags with yummy food to be delivered to the community! This really warmed my heart because as a mom of 2 little ones, I couldn’t imagine a child going without food!
After that amazing experience, we headed to the airport and said our goodbyes. I met some amazing people during this retreat, and I am so grateful for the experience! I have a couple more posts coming in the next couple of months, highlighting some of my favorite products from the retreat! Stay tuned!!!
