This Simple Honey Mint Green Iced Tea is perfect refreshing and revitalizing beverage! It’s naturally sweetened and packed with antioxidants!
Who loves iced tea as much as I do?? Living in the South, iced sweet tea is THE beverage of choice! We literally drink it at every meal! I’ve always loved how refreshing it is, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve been on a green tea kick!

Before adulthood, I would typically drink warm green tea when I was feeling under the weather. And it seemed to work wonders, but once I added ice, mint & honey, I was hooked at it instantly became my drink of choice!

HOW TO MAKE HONEY MINT ICED GREEN TEA
Making this Simple Honey Mint Green Iced Tea is super easy! If you’ve ever made iced black tea, the process is really similar.
Simply heat some water and right when it comes to a boil, turn off the heat and let the fresh mint and tea bags steep for a few minutes. I like a really strong tea flavor, so I tend to let my tea bags steep for about an hour before removing the tea bags.
Then I add about 1-1 and ½ cups of water and sweeten it with a little honey. Top with ice, stir, and voila! Easy, right?!

Green Tea – You can use any brand you’d like, but this is the brand I usually purchase because it’s so smooth!
Mason Jars – In my opinion, iced tea just tastes better in a Mason Jar! ? These are the ones that I love to use.

Simple Honey Mint Green Iced Tea
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 4 green tea bags
- 3 sprigs fresh mint plus more for garnish
- 1/4 cup honey plus more if desired (up to 1/2 cup)
- 2 cups cold water
- 1-2 cups ice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat, and add in tea bags and 3 mint sprigs. Cover and let steep for about 15-20 minutes. If you want a stronger tea flavor, steep for about 30-45 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and mint, and stir in honey. In a large pitcher, add green tea, about 1-2 cups of ice, 2 cups cold water, and green tea mixture. Serve over ice and garnish with more fresh mint.
- Enjoy!
