Step into the heart of the holiday season with a batch of these delightful Red Velvet Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies!

This year, I made a promise to be more intentional during the holiday season. You see, every year, I tend to get a little overwhelmed by all of the holiday hustle and bustle. I stress over having the perfect Christmas décor, attending all of the holiday events, and of course, capturing every moment on camera. Whew, it’s a lot!

After years of obsessing over the holidays, I decided that it was time to make a few changes. I wanted to be present in the moment and focus on creating new Christmas memories with my family. I wanted to be a “go-with-the-flow” kind of mom, and not worry if every moment was picture perfect. And you know what—I think I nailed it!

Yes, I still recorded a few videos and took a few pics, but only in the name of fun. It wasn’t forced or scheduled—it was just me and my family having fun and enjoying each other. And making several batches of cookies, such as these Red Velvet Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies!

How to Make Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies Using Cake Mix
The beauty of this recipe lies not just in its simplicity but in the togetherness it fosters. My boys had a blast putting this recipe together, but they enjoyed eating them even more!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 1 box of red velvet cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- Powdered sugar for coating

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Combine the red velvet cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil in a bowl. Stir until a stiff dough forms.
Step 2: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and generously roll each dough ball in powdered sugar to create the classic crinkle appearance.
Step 3: Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for about 9-11 minutes. Cool for about 2-3 minutes on cookie sheet before removing to wire rack to cool completely.

Baking cookies during the holiday season is not just about indulging in a sweet treat; it’s about building connections, sharing stories, and crafting memories that will be passed down through generations. Happy baking and happy holidays!
