How to Make Crispy Sesame Garlic Salmon Bites
1. Make the Sauce
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hot sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
2. Marinate the Salmon
Place the cubed salmon into a large bowl and pour half of the sauce over it. Gently toss to coat. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to absorb the flavor.
3. Sear the Salmon
Preheat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil. Spread salmon cubes out evenly and cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes to get that irresistible golden-brown crust.
4. Flip & Finish
Use tongs to flip the salmon cubes and cook another 1–2 minutes until cooked through. Drizzle in the remaining sauce and cook for an additional 1 minute, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly and coat the salmon.
5. Serve & Enjoy
Transfer to a plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped cilantro, if desired. Serve over steamed jasmine rice, cauliflower rice, or stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
