Y’all, my kids have been obsessed with edamame lately! They even prefer it over their favorite snack, which is Takis! Now I know that this phase won’t last very long lol, but as a dietitian, it makes very happy that they are embracing more nutrient-dense foods like edamame.

The Health Benefits of Edamame
Edamame, or young soybeans, are a nutritional powerhouse. They are rich in plant-based protein, fiber, vitamins (such as folate, vitamin K, and vitamin C), minerals (like iron and magnesium), and antioxidants. Incorporating edamame into your diet regimen offers numerous health benefits, including supporting heart health, weight management, and blood sugar control.
