Here’s What You Need:
Avocado – Avocado is packed with healthy fats, and when applied to the skin, the natural oils nourish and hydrate your skin. They’re also packed with antioxidants and vitamins that can help with redness and inflammation.
Honey – Honey can help with a variety of skin concerns including acne, eczema and psoriasis. It can also help with healing and inflammation.
Plain Yogurt– Yogurt’s creamy texture can help to lock in moisture and potentially brighten your skin. Some research suggests that it can even help even out skin tone.
Lemon Juice– Lemons are filled with Vitamin C which is an antioxidant and a brightening agent. It helps to give the skin a flawless glow and it also helps to prevent the avocados from browning!
Optional: Rolled Oats – If you want to boost the effectiveness of this mask, add in oatmeal! Its anti-inflammatory properties can help to soothe and treat the skin.

How To Make An Avocado Face Mask
When making this mask, simply add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Wash face with a cleanser, dry and then apply mask liberally to face and neck. Let sit for about 20 minutes before washing the mask off.
*Pro Tip: I like to stick my mask in the fridge for a few minutes before applying it. The cool temperature can help to reduce pores and ease fine lines & wrinkles!
Taking a moment to take care of YOU, can bring you so much peace and serenity. It’s definitely a great way to brighten your mood, your day, and your skin!

Hu, do you use the whole lot in one time?
Me and my daughter have made one and there is loads left over. What do you do with the leftover mask?
Thanks x
Hi! You can store the rest in an airtight container and place it in the fridge. It should last for about 5 days.
I love this mixture as it’s natural. After the first application my skin felt and look smooth. How often should I apply this treatment!
I’m so glad that you liked it! I would suggest using it about 1-2 times a week.
I’m doing a spa day party for my daughter and two young granddaughters. Will one batch be enough or should I double?
Hi! one batch should be enough. I hope that y’all have fun!!
I love avocado face masks, they leave your skin so soft and hydrating! I usually do avocado-honey masks, but I will try your DIY to see the results. It’s the best time for self-treatment 🙂

How many ounces does this make? I am think of sending some to my friend and I need to know how big a jar I should buy for it.
This makes about 1 and 1/2 cups (about 12oz)
I love the idea of creating a face mask,so awesome! One question,it the lemon juice optional,or a requirement?
It’s totally optional!
Is Oatmeal optional?
It can be. It added thickness to the mask
Do you wash mask off with cleanser or just water?
I usually use a cleanser
I used kefir plain yogurt for this recipe. It came out better I think as my face is over sensitive in hot weather. Kept in fridge too.♥️♥️♥️

All of the ingredients are edible, but I’m not sure if it will taste that great!

I just got all of the makings for this mask today, I’m going to make it tomorrow. I have dry patches on my face.. (my face is usually very clear so this is unusual) I hope this helps!
i love this face mask best one I’ve made yet! but I’m wondering if you can substitute the oatmeal for anything?
Can I put the leftovers in the freezer to keep it longer?
You can try putting it in the freezer. It should hold up
This Avocado Face Mask worked SUPER well! It made my skin hydrate and gave my face a DIY glow! I HIGHLY recommend this recipe! My mother also used it and it also worked for her, very well. It made our faces sting, which means that it working with your skin.
I’m so glad that you liked the recipe!
Thanks so much for this! I have a very bad inflamed right shin, as a result of eczema. I used to have it on both legs but my right leg has always been the more stubborn one.
I was searching on line for leg masks and to no avail but found expensive creams for $90.00. I figured what could be good for the face (for the treatment of eczema) could definitely be good for the legs or anywhere else on the body.
So I made my first batch last night and it felt so soothing because it was cool, and it was a little tingly. I used cold water only to rinse off and no drying. Applied coconut oil on afterwards. Put the rest in a small sealed container that I used to use for transporting hot soups.
In the morning I applied some to both my face and shin and let it sit. Even better since it had been refrigerated. Did the same as above. I will just keep using it over and over. My shin is less inflamed and my face looked less red and puffy this morning!
I will just keep making more and more of it until healed! In two weeks I will let you know on my progress. Plan to use once or twice per day over the next two weeks. A lot safer and more effective than steroid creams dermatologists give you. No itchiness as I am sitting here typing this.
I’m so glad that it worked for you!
Hi! this made my face feel very soft and refreshed THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I was wondering if it would be save to use as a hair mask to?
I’m so glad that you gave it a try! I’m not sure about using it for a hair mask. I haven’t tried that yet!
