Fall is one of my favorite seasons! The crisp air, warm colors, and cozy vibes make it the perfect time to refresh your home. But here’s the best part: you don’t have to spend a fortune to create a space that feels festive and inviting. Over the years, I’ve found that some of the best budget-friendly fall décor can be found at places like Dollar Tree and Amazon. You just have to get a little creative!

Here are my favorite tips, tricks, and ideas for finding affordable fall décor!
Seasonal Flowers & Faux Greenery
One of my go-to tricks is shopping for fake seasonal flowers and greenery from Amazon or the Dollar Tree. They’re inexpensive, they last year after year, and they instantly add that warm, autumn vibe.

- Mix and match faux sunflowers, mums, and fall leaves in a vase or mason jar.
- Use them to make DIY centerpieces which are perfect for your dining table or entryway.
- Layer them into baskets or wreaths for a full, textured look.
Tip: Stick with earthy tones (burgundy, mustard, burnt orange, and deep greens) for a timeless fall feel.
Candles with a Fall Twist
Candles are one of the easiest (and coziest) ways to bring fall into your home. You don’t need the fancy, expensive seasonal ones either!

- Buy solid-colored candles in warm tones (cream, orange, brown, or burgundy).
- Dress them up with ribbons, twine, or mini faux leaves from the craft section at Dollar Tree.
- Arrange them on a tray with pinecones or acorns for a simple but elegant display.
Bonus: Unscented candles are budget-friendly, and you can still create that fall aroma by simmering cinnamon sticks, orange peels, and cloves on the stove and make an Easy Fall Stovetop Potpourri!

Baskets & Containers
I have a soft spot for baskets because they’re stylish, functional, and versatile. Whether you grab them from Amazon or Dollar Tree, they’re an inexpensive way to add rustic fall charm.
- Fill them with pumpkins, gourds, or faux greenery for a table centerpiece.
- Use smaller baskets to hold throw blankets or cozy socks by the couch.
- Hang a shallow basket on the wall and tuck in faux florals for a unique piece of wall art.
Tip: Neutral-colored baskets are the most versatile—you can use them again for other seasons with a quick décor swap.

Pumpkins (Real & Faux)
What’s fall without pumpkins? The good news is you don’t need a pumpkin patch budget to bring them into your home.
- Dollar Tree foam pumpkins can be painted or wrapped in fabric to match your color scheme.
- Buy a set of small faux pumpkins from Amazon to scatter around your mantel, coffee table, or shelves.
- Mix real pumpkins with faux ones for a natural, layered look.
DIY Idea: Cover foam pumpkins with plaid fabric or burlap for a cozy, farmhouse-inspired feel.

Cozy Textures & Simple Accents
Fall is all about cozy textures. You don’t have to overhaul your home, just add a few small, inexpensive touches:
- Drape a plaid throw blanket over a chair or couch.
- Swap out pillow covers for fall colors (Amazon has tons of affordable sets).
- Add pinecones, acorns, or cinnamon sticks in bowls or jars for natural accents.
Tip: Reuse everyday items like mason jars, cake stands, or trays to showcase your seasonal pieces.

Where to Shop for Budget-Friendly Fall Décor
- Dollar Tree: Faux florals, candles, foam pumpkins, ribbon, and small accent pieces.
- Amazon: Affordable sets of pillow covers, faux pumpkin bundles, and versatile baskets.
- Thrift Stores: Look for baskets, jars, trays, or even second-hand candle holders you can DIY.
- Your Own Backyard: Pinecones, branches, and acorns make great free décor!
Fall décor doesn’t have to be expensive to be beautiful. With a little creativity and some budget-friendly finds, you can create a home that feels warm and festive!
