Make pizza night more exciting with these Mini Pear, Prosciutto, & Gorgonzola Flatbread Pizzas! It’s a ton of flavor in the perfect bite!
In my opinion, I think that pizza and Fridays go together like PB&J! It’s just something about biting into a warm slice of pizza that sets the tone for a great weekend! Don’t you agree??

When it comes to pizza toppings, I’m usually a simple type of gal! I happen to love cheese pizza and if I’m feeling a little fancy, I might add a little pepperoni or spinach. I wanted to add a more sophisticated flair to pizza night, so I decided to make these Mini Pear, Prosciutto, & Gorgonzola Flatbread Pizzas!
This combination came to mind after being completely enticed by this amazing charcuterie board at a cocktail party. One of the suggested pairings was gorgonzola cheese and pears. I really like both of those flavors, but I never thought to put them together.

Those 2 flavors tasted amazing together…but there was something missing. And that something was prosciutto! That’s when I decided to put these flavors together to make a delicious pizza! To keep this recipe super simple, I used a premade, refrigerated pizza dough. You can certainly make your own, but I wanted to keep things easy, peasy!
I separated my dough into 6 squares and placed it on a baking sheet. I topped the dough with sliced pears, prosciutto, gorgonzola, & mozzarella. I baked the pizzas for about 15 minutes until the crust was golden brown.

For the finishing touch, I drizzled a little balsamic vinaigrette on top and added a little fresh rosemary before serving! It was AMAZING!! The balsamic vinaigrette brought out the tangy flavor of the gorgonzola, the sweetness of the pears, and the saltiness of the prosciutto! Yum!! Now THIS is how pizza night is supposed to be!

Mini Pear, Prosciutto, & Gorgonzola Flatbread Pizzas
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated pizza crust
- 2 pears thinly sliced
- 3 oz prosciutto cut into thin strips
- ¾ cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese & more for garnish
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Salt/pepper to taste
- Optional: rosemary and balsamic vinaigrette
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut refrigerated pizza into 6 squares and place them onto a greased baking sheet.
- Spread melted butter evenly onto pizza dough. Distribute mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese evenly onto the dough. Top with sliced pears and prosciutto.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
- If desired, top with rosemary, balsamic vinaigrette, and more gorgonzola cheese before serving.
- Enjoy!
